RULES
1.) One person in boat must be 18 years of age.
2.) Each angler must be a member of The Bass Federation(TBF). Proof of membership is required or angler must pay $15 to join TBF.
3.) Entry fee is $45 per tournament per boat plus $5 per boat for big fish pot(big fish pot optional).
4.) All participants must sign a waiver to participate in tournaments.
5.) Tournaments will be from safe daylight to 3 pm.
6.) Life jackets and kill switches must be worn when big motor is in use (when boat is on plane), or they will be DISQUALIFIED (the person not in compliance).
7.) Five(5) fish limit per boat.
8.) Twelve(12) inch minimum size limit with closed mouth and sweeping of the tail, except where state law requires a fourteen(14) inch limit.
9.) Anglers must cull their fish before bringing fish to weigh-in station. Anglers must verify the length of their own fish prior to bringing fish to the weigh-in station.
10.) One(1) fish of each team will be measured on an official golden rule furnished by club.
11.) Members attempting to weigh in an illegal fish will be penalized the weight of their big fish.
12.) An illegal fish will be as follows: Any fish on any lake under our 12" minimum size limit, any fish under 14" where state law requires 14" size limit.
13.) There will be a .25 lb. penalty for each dead fish. If three(3) or more dead fish are weighed in by a team, the team will be disqualified from the event.
14.) Only largemouth, smallmouth, spotted bass, and red-eyed bass will be weighed.
15.) All fish will be brought to scales in plastic bags with water, or the team will be disqualified.
16.) Must be back at designated point before quitting time or be disqualified. Designated point will be the landing the tournament launched from and quitting time will be set before each tournament blast off.
17.) The number of places paid out will be based on the number of boats as follows:
7 or less boats - 1 Place
8-14 boats - 2 Places
15 or more boats - 3 Places
18.) Payout Breakdown: 7 or less: 1st - $35 x # of boats
8-14: 1st - $25 x # of boats
2nd - $10 x # of boats
15 or more: 1st - $20 x # of boats
2nd - $10 x # of boats
3rd - $5 x # of boats
Fish Off Pot - $10 per boat.
Big Fish Pot will be paid out 100%
19.) In the event of a tie, the money will be split 50/50. For example: if two boats tie for 2nd place, the 2nd and 3rd place money will be combined and split between the two boats. If two boats tie for 3rd place, the 3rd place money will be divided between the two boats.
20.) Qualifications for Fish-Off: Each angler must fish 8 tournaments and attend 8 pre-tournament meetings. Anglers may fish with a partner or solo in the Fish-Off.
21.) Pre-Tournament meetings will be held the Thursday prior to the tournament at 6:30pm. Attendance at these meetings will count toward Fish-Off eligibility. The meeting prior to the Fish-Off does not count toward Fish-Off eligibility.
22.) The Fish-Off location will be determined by a drawing at the pre-tournament meeting prior to the Fish-Off. Qualifying anglers will be allowed to enter their choice of location into the drawing. The location choice must come from the 2010 ILBC Bass Trail schedule. The Fish-Off location will be off limits between the Fish-Off pre-meeting and the morning of the Fish-Off. Locking is NOT allowed during the Fish-Off.
23.) Obey ALL state and local laws.
24.) NO alcoholic beverages, narcotics or abuse of controlled or any illegal substance while fishing tournaments and at weigh-in. The use of profanity will be prohibited while fishing tournaments and at weigh-in.
25.) If you are disqualified for any reason, the tournament will not count toward qualification for the Fish-Off.
26.) If anyone is caught cheating in an ILBC tournament, they will be disqualified from the event and no longer be allowed to fish in an ILBC tournament.
27.) The committee has the right to change or cancel the location of the tournament due to unsafe conditions.
28.) The decisions of the tournament committee are final in all matters and are not subject to appeal.
29.) There will be a $20 Membership Fee.
30.) You may fish with us one time as a visitor, but MUST pay membership dues thereafter. This is a one time annual fee.
31.) You can make ONE meeting up by attending Sunday Morning service at ILBC.
32.) For any reason you can't fish any one tournament, you will be allowed to pay $50 for that one and it will count for the Fish-Off(One Time ONLY). If your partner can fish and you can't, but need that tournament to count for the fish-off, you can pay $50 and be counted.
